"fatto una breve pausa pranzo. attratti dalla posizione, dal bel locale e dal menù con prezzi onesti. scelto di sederci nella suggestiva scenografia della zona esterna (tra colonne antiche e un piazzale storico stupendo). i due ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono stati di una gentilezza rara, disponibili, educati e attenti alle richieste. preso spaghetti alla gricia (con tanto ottimo guanciale ben tostato) e mezze maniche al tartufo, con carne, funghi e panna, a parte del formaggio pecorino grattugiato. porzioni abbondanti, gustose, ben condite. altro punto a favore sono i prezzi delle proposte (per nulla alti). preso un pasticcino con dell’ottima glassa e crema al pistacchio. buono anche il caffè. infine, abbiamo apprezzato anche che la bottiglia d’acqua fosse sigillata (fresca al punto giusto), dato che molti purtroppo servono l'acqua in bottiglie già aperte. abbiamo pagato il giusto, mangiato bene e abbondante. molto soddisfatti!"

"Siamo arrivati verso le 14:30 a pranzo un po’ tardi e la cucina era già chiusa ma Eliona bravissima ha chiesto al cuoco che gentilmente ci hanno servito uno spaghetto alla carbonara buonissimo con delle olive all’ascolana come antipasto: strepitosamente buone !! Tutti gentilissimi e professionali . E’ un café , pasticceria e vino. Prezzi nel giusto ."

"Il boccascena si trova in una delle due vie principali vie del centro di Ascoli. Ho avuto modo di frequentarlo e mi è piaciuto molto. La colazione è buonissima e hanno un buon assortimento di vini. La miscela del caffè è ottima e le paste sono grandi e sono di tanti tipi. Ha tanti tavoli sua fuori che dentro il locale. E uno dei due migliori bar di ascoli"
